We do not need to learn what to do and what not. we need to just listen to our heart-if i do not follow and pursue my pleasure,i do not hurt anybody. It is sufficient to not want things for myself, for my pleasure and then I can be sure that I do not hurt anybody. Take for example psychopaths . psychologist claim they don’t have conscience. I don’t know if it is or is not true but I think that if they don’t have conscience they still know what is right and what is wrong. If they do not have conscience and do not follow their desire then they do not to do evil . This applies to everybody. It is not necessary to have conscience, it is necessary to not follow what is selfishly pleasurable, only for myself . I do not claim that people should not seek pleasure but people shouldn’t seek selfish desires. It is no sin to have a good meal but it is a sin to eat more than I need because I like the food. it is no sin to enjoy pleasure but it is evil to consider pleasure more important than doing the right thing.
