secular and spiritual way of living

What is the difference btw being good in a secular way and being good in a religious or spiritual way? if somone does good acc to his highest conscience,the boundary between sec. and spir. way of living is deleted. there is nothing more than being good. It is the whole religion of mankind. Christianity shows the way bcs it says,that although i may be destroyed by my decisions,the essence will survive. In other words,it is meaningful to do good even if it destroys me, it does not destroy my ‘self’. Doing good is higher than anything and everything else. rather than compromise with evil one should try to do good even if his kin may be endangered by it. There is no difference between my kin any other people. Let us not let the selfish(pseudo-altruistic) gene take control over our decision making
