two colleagues talk about too much stuff to do and so rather then working,they are talking. They both are sinful for laziness but they say the other sins as well,why should not i,it is a vicious circle. Sometimes it is of course natural for all of us but we should beware it.To compare myself with others is always dangerous. To compare myself with others in order to make myself feel better because i am not so bad as them is always detrimental. Laziness that makes us think how to improve things, can be good, but laziness when we want to avoid what we should do is not good. It depends on an individual mind. There is nothing wrong with visiting collegues but I must know when it is time to stop talking and start working. On the other hand sometimes talking is more than working. Sometimes it is better to just sit and listen to others. sometimes talking is more than working. Sometimes it is better to just sit and listen to others to show my interest in their problems than the actual work I do for them.
