Idolatry

In Czech Republic we have a habit of calling Karel Gott “mistr” a master, which is Same translation that we give to Jesus Christ. People obviously do not consciously blaspheme but it should make us cautious. There is only one Master and no one else has the same privilege. Of course I do wish him good luck and I like his singing but I think that the aura of irreplaceableness says that people willingly want an idol to which they could turn to and Deify. Karel Gott I believe is a great personality but the craziness about him only strength the people’s loss of individuality and they turn to idols.
