Prayer

It is very important to live today and not think about tomorrow. I read a passage from the Gospel where Jesus told Levi to follow him. Levi left everything and followed Christ. it is so beautiful. We all should be prepared to follow what is to right and to shun what is wrong. who among us today would listen to some prophet who would bade him to leave everything, property, money, family and just follow uncertain lot with Him? we may say that Jesus was the only One, but in his time people did not know that he is the chosen One. i cannot really say that I would follow Christ if i did not know him, but i dare say that I try to listen to Gods voice although it is very difficult to find a calm quiet spot today. Jesus tells us to pray in silence not among others. i think that this cannot be said generally. Some people like to be silent and alone, some rather pray among people. Jesus was more interested in the inner way of prayer, and that can be either good and candid among people or when alone.
