I found myself in a shopping mall the other day and it was quite hard to move around because of the multitude of people but in the first place the stuff one is called to buy in the consumerism society. At first it did not seem strange to see that much of the goods because one is not used to starve but when I thought to myself that I was angry due to the fact of having too much, I felt really strange. it is not unusual that in western society people are sick of not eating too little, but they are afflicted by having too much, by being obese or by too healthy a diet that is also not generally healthy for everyone. having more than enough to eat is naturally nobodys fault, but it could and maybe even should incite us to donate now when its xmas time something to those that do not have enough or do not have anything to eat at all
